Membership
Hokubu Dojo are members of Japan Karate Shotorenmei. As members of the JKS, Hokubu Dojo members can avail of regular technical seminars with top Japanese Instructors. All grades are recognised by Japan. In order to grade with the JKS, take part in national and international technical seminars and competitions and be recognized and licensed by the Japan Karate Shotorenmei, members must take out a JKS licence.
Members of Hokubu Dojo must pay a club Licence fee. Licence costs are €35 annually (January). This fee is inclusive of JKS licence renewal. Membership/Licence fees are used to fund the running of events and subsidize members participation in non association events.
